‘Twisted Whiskers’ goes to Southeast Asia!

Twisted Whiskers, DQE Animation Series, Disney Channels, Southeast AsiaDQ Entertainment plc (DQE), the animation, gaming and entertainment company, announced an exclusive licensing deal with Walt Disney Television International (Southeast Asia) for its CGI-animated series ‘Twisted Whiskers’. The renowned series will air on Disney Channel in 12 markets across the region in the coming months.

Tapaas Chakravarti, chairman and CEO of DQE Group, said: “This pact indicates the sustained relationship we share with our partners. We are absolutely thrilled with our progressive and strategic partnership with Walt Disney Television International, which embodies fun and entertainment for children across the globe.”

DQE had in December announced a similar deal with Walt Disney Television International (India) for ‘Twisted Whiskers’ and two other shows. ‘Twisted Whiskers’ is a co-production of DQE, American Greetings and Taffy Entertainment USA.

The Southeast Asia markets covered in the deal include Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Palau, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. The show will also be seen on Disney Channel in South Korea, Hong Kong and Papua New Guinea.
