Shows like ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat’ need a hook to pull viewers in, so the producer and the director decided to shoot a ‘honeymoon boat sequence’ for the show. The idea sounded exciting to the cast and crew but the ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat’ unit wound up having a very different experience.
The unit had earlier planned to shoot on the shore only and not venture into the sea. But director Pawan Kumar and the producer took a last-minute call to set sail on a boat. All was fine until the boat stopped in the middle of the sea and the driver could not get it moving. The unit was stuck and they began to panic as the boat tossed and shook because of the rough sea. A few emergency calls were made and after much confusion, they managed to get the boat moving. What a relief it must have been to the crew!
The ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat’ unit had a close shave and luckily they made it safe and sound. We sure hope those TRPs are worth it!
