The Gods of Rock are back on popular demand with the fourth season of History Rocks, the best known ‘Rockumentary’ ever only on FOX History & Entertainment. Premiering on the channel on May 14, Friday nights at 11pm, this 12 part series allows music lovers a peek into the lives of rock legends and their biggest concerts. This time, the series offers hotter riffs, cooler concerts, top of the order rock bands and their thrilling stories! Premiering this season are U2, Dire Straits in Concert, Eric Clapton in Concert, Led Zeppelin - dazed and confused and much more
Commenting on the return of History Rocks, Sudha Sadhanand, Vice-President - Programming, FOX History & Entertainment said, On popular demand, History Rocks is back once again with its fourth season to engage rock fans with the best rock music out there. The series is a unique combination of concerts, documentaries and stories of rock legends and their days of classic rock. This season is dedicated to the ultimate sound of legendary rockers such as Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones to name a few. Once again, viewers will get to see what makes their favourite rock legends the Gods of Rock.
We are also collaborating with Sony Music to create a special and exclusive History Rocks album with popular rock anthems that will soon hit the stores,she added. As part of the on-ground initiatives, the channel has organized three rock concerts in Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai. The concerts kick started with a thrilling performance by JunkYard Groove in Bangalore and will continue in Mumbai and New Delhi as crowds get to sway with Pentagram and Think Floyd on May 20 respectively.
The show will be supported by strategically focused marketing campaign involving social media, radio campaign and on-ground activities at most popular youth hangouts. For viewers who have loved the previous seasons, catch the repeat telecast of the best episodes on Saturdays at 11pm!
