Star and Live Earth announced an extensive list of legendary musicians and Bollywood actors who will be performing at the upcoming Live Earth India concert on Dec. 7, which will be broadcast on Star Plus, Channel (V) India and Star World.
Joining Grammy-winner Bon Jovi and Live Earth India spokesperson and actor, Amitabh Bachchan, are global icons like Roger Waters, Will.I.Am, Anoushka Shankar, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu, Shiamak Davar, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Hard Kaur, Jalebee Cartel, Vishal & Shekhar, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Nigam and Shaan.
Produced globally by Control Room and in partnership with local promoter and producers, Wizcraft International Entertainment, the concert will feature collaborations of western and Indian artists and a variety of musical genres from India hip-hop to American rock. ronmental advocates and celebrities are expected as well. Live Earth India will highlight personal and policy solutions to the climate crisis, offer support for India’s important environmental issues and causes, and provide a platform for India to solidify its leadership role on climate issues.
Live Earth India will reach viewers on three of Star’s channels across Asia and beyond: Star Plus in India, UK & Middle East feeds (global footprint); Star World in South East Asia, Hong Kong and India; and Channel (V) in India.
