Purab Kohli who is basking in the glory of success with ‘Rock On’ and got critical acclaim for his performance in "My brother Nikhil" is all set to anchor SRK's first reality show on television "Knights and Angels" which will go on air on February 28 at prime time on NDTV Imagine.
Purab has come a long way; he started his career as a model. He got a chance in acting with the teenage show Hip Hip Hurray on Zee TV and then shows like 'Chota Moo Badi Baat' and 'Sangharsh' for B4U followed. What made you take up anchoring the show 'Knights and angels'?
Well I have not hosted a show for over a year now, as I was focusing on acting. I felt that if I now had to host a show, it had to be big and exciting. This is a big show…SRK, Knight Rider….24 girls! I think it is very exciting.
How did you get the offer and what was your reaction?
I got called by Red Chillies. My initial reaction was a bit skeptical but once I heard the concept, I wanted to be a part of it for sure.
What do you like about the show?
It is the start to the IPL Fever, and the 24 girls.
Your comparison between reality shows and daily soaps...
Well don’t we all love drama.
Acting verses anchoring...which is more difficult/challenging and why?
I always said on a good day everything is easy and on a bad day…tough…very tough!

Oh I have many…living a few already and many more to fulfill.
If not an actor, model or VJ what would you be?
A farmer I guess!!
