It is all red red red red all over….red hearts, red balloons, red roses and what not. It is no wonder because the celebrations follow since love is in the air as Valentines’ Day is round the corner. The day is special for some and not so much for a few others. So what are our celebs planning for the special day…? Do they believe in this day…? Are they gonna be seen in all red? We caught up with some of the television stars to find out about their Valentines’ Day celebrations for our special column for Valentines’ Day… Read on…
Amit Dua – I don’t believe in Valentines’ Day because love can expressed everyday.
Anuradha Menon – I don’t believe in this day. However I just have my thought for the couples in love. I appreciate the concept as solidarity for the cause. I will be leaving to Calcutta for some work and that is about my plans.
Ashita Dhawan – I will be watching ‘Billu’ tonight with my Valentine and the celebrations begin from tonight itself; and tomorrow will be some partying. I usually plan a lot of for Valentines’ Day but this time, I have been quite busy so it is all last-minute plans. I bel
ieve strongly in this day and even buy red clothes to celebrate. However my boy friend doesn’t believe in all this but he does celebrate to keep me happy.
Preeti Puri – Nothing planned…I will just be shooting, Of course it is a nice day to express your love and I used to celebrate the day when I was in college.
Shalini Khanna – Nothing great…just catch up on some movies or watch some DVD at home. I am all single and will celebrate it. It is just one more day for me and most often spend with my friends or family. But it is nice to see a lot of red all around.
Karuna Pandey – I will be taking my pet to the doctor. I also will be spending time with my boyfriend together; I’ll probably buy a card for him. I feel that this is not the only day to celebrate love but since people started it, why not be with them is what I think.
Karan Mehra – I am in Delhi right now to surprise my girl friend; she doesn’t know that I have come down here. I am thinking to take her out for dinner and as far as gifting goes, I am very bad at it and she is great; so I rather will take her out for shopping and buy her w
hat she wants. Love is celebrated everyday but since this day has been made special, I am for it. However there is no following of dress codes or colours….I have surpassed all those things and we are quite an old couple now.
Chetan Hansraj – There is going to be a party with friends and family as it is my wife’s birthday tomorrow; so it is all double celebration. I will probably buy her some diamonds. It is a happy day and I want to be together with the celebrations.
Ekta Sharma – I will be going out with some friends and watch a movie. Valentines’ day is special because you have a reason to express your love to someone; moreover when people these days are so busy, it is a nice occasion to show out your love. I am single but if I had a Valentine, I would probably follow codes and colors for the day
Sana Saeed – I am so excited not because of Valentines’ Day but because I have got a break after two weeks of shootingI will just attend my sister’s painting exhibition, get a haircut and basically finish up on some pending stuffIt is like any other day for me and I probably will catch up with my friends too
