How important is money to you?
In today’s world money is definitely a necessary thing for survival. But as far as work is concerned, money is not the primary motivating factor and that doesn’t mean I will work for free.
Between love and money, I would choose…
I wish, I could survive on love but love does not pay your bills. So it is a mix of both or if I have to be brutal, I will go with choosing money.
How do you handle your expenses?
I do it all myself and keep a check on it. However I don’t plan a lot as I am not extravagant in spending.
How good are you at saving?
Not good at all. I may not lavishly spend but whatever comes to me goes even before I get it…everything goes off just for the basic regular stuff.
Are you a spendthrift?
Not at all.
Are you an impulsive buyer?
Sometimes.
What do you spend the most amount of money on?
On my pets and whenever I travel.
At what age did you start earning and what did you do with your first salary?
I started when I was sixteen where I used to just do plays but was not a professional actor. May be I took my family out for dinner and saved some amount to buy my first car.
How much money do you carry with you every day?
I don’t carry much and use cards more….at least not more than hundred rupees.
What is your best purchase till date?
For sentimental reasons, it will be my first car – a maruti van.
One tip as far as spending money is concerned…
Don’t spend much and see your bank balance increasing which will give you immense satisfaction. And spend only when you really feel like or when something touches you to and make the right judgment.
